As a meditation teacher, many parents asked me for advice on the best yoga apps for kids.
You might have noticed that in 2021 there are tons of apps, like Calm and Headspace for meditation, yoga apps like Cosmic Kids Yoga and various streaming platforms too.
I tell most of my parent-students that it is a personal thing. What I think is the best app might not be the right one for their children. That’s why I’ve made a list of all different types of apps, so that you can find the best ones for your kids and their unique personalities.

1: Cosmic Kids
Cosmic Kids is the app equivalent to the very popular Youtube channel, which gained fame after it used various pop-culture icons in its videos. The reason why this is one of the best yoga apps for children is that it is so bright, fun, and cheerful. The little ones won’t be able to stop smiling when they use this app.
This is the best one if you want your little one to have tons of fun and to be motivated to practise.

2: I AM LOVE
I AM LOVE is a kids yoga app that teaches 13 poses that are demonstrated by children. It’s an interactive story that helps Children to learn the practise. There are also stories to help them to relax, and affirmations.
Choose this app if you’re looking for a very simple app to get the kids started.
3: Yoga Kids
The Yoga Kids app gets your children to relax by teaching them 39 different asanas. The reason this is one of the best yoga apps for kids is that it is very easy to use and intuitive. Youngsters can control the speed of the videos, the sounds and movements. It’s a really great app for getting children to take an interest in the practise.
4: Yoga for Kids and Family fitness – Easy Workout
Doubtlessly, this is one of the most popular kids’ yoga apps. It has a whopping 4.5 star review average from over 5,800 reviewers (at time of writing). That’s impressive!
The app is designed to help your little ones stay physically active through yoga. It displays different poses and workout plans to help the little ones exercise, and children will especially love the fun animal asanas. There are also nutritional facts and other tips to make children more aware of their health and wellbeing.
This is the best yoga app for kids if you don’t just want the little ones to learn about the practice but also about other elementary aspects of health.
