The Cosmic Kids Yoga app makes it fun for kids to starting practicing yoga at home.

At the time of the global pandemic we are facing higher levels of stress and anxiety than ever. And this includes for kids. Certainly kids might not understand completely what is happening around the world, but they will definitely be aware that something is wrong, and many kids are feeling stressed because of it.

It is imperative to give kids ways to relax and let go. This is partly why we are seeing so many new meditation toys for kids these days.

One of the best ways of helping kids with stress is through yoga.

We adults who practice yoga know how beneficial it can be for stress. And we know that it can help kids too. However, actually getting your kids to start doing yoga can be a challenge. They’d rather be playing video games than doing asanas.

The Cosmic Kids Yoga app can help get kids doing yoga by making it fun.  And it is one of the best yoga apps for children.

What Is The Cosmic Kids Yoga App?

Cosmic Kids Yoga started as a Youtube channel and oh boy did it get big quick. By making yoga fun for kids, the Cosmic Kids Yoga channel has grown to over 550,000 subscribers. Kids love videos like Squish The Fish and Pedro The Penguin Goes To The Funfair.

Now, Cosmic Kids yoga is available as an application on iPhone, Android, FireTV, Roku and other services. And my bet is that adults and kids are going to absolutely love this app.

The Cosmic Kids Yoga app is the official application of the Youtube Channel Cosmic Kids Yoga.

The app helps kids to get up and start practicing yoga at home by making it fun and accessible.

Cosmic Kids Yoga makes it fun for kids to start doing yoga!

The app is full of bright and colourful characters and positive affirmations, which present yoga practices in fun ways. It’s also full of important life lessons, such as helping kids to always look on the bright side of life.

Yoga teacher Jamie presents 15 minute lessons that are quick enough and fun enough for kids to practice without getting distracted.

The lessons are quick and fun!

You can download the app on iOS and Android from the iTunes store or PLAY store, and it is also available to stream on Smart TVs.

There are explanations of all the different yoga poses so that you and your kids can learn more about the asanas. So it is as educational as it is fun.

The app is usually paid for, but, as with many apps that are giving out free lessons during COVID-19, it is available to download for free. Donations are accepted.

The Meditation Scripts Are Fun And Positive

As well as yoga moves there are also meditation scripts. These meditations promise to help kids calm down and be more focused.

The meditations are fun and engaging and will help kids to relax.

Benefits of Coscmic Kids Yoga App

As a mindful parent you are probably wondering whether there are any proven benefits of Cosmic Kids Yoga.

The company itself performed a survey in 2016 in which they asked more than 400 teachers who use Cosmic Kids Yoga whether they have experienced benefits from it. The vast majority said that yes, they had.

Teachers said that they had observed the following benefits in kids:

But take this with a pinch of salt.

As with all studies that are funded by a company in order to market its own product, these results should be taken with a pinch of salt. Self-promotional scientific studies tend to be set-up in a way that will deliberately lead to false-positive results. Even though I do personally believe that the Cosmic Kids Yoga application is good for kids, the study itself shouldn’t be taken as gospel.

I love the Cosmic Kids Yoga app. I do believe it is an excellent app for kids to get them doing yoga. It is bright, colourful, fun, and educational. Highly recommended.
