  • Meditation improves circulation
  • Because of the above meditation improves your skin (so you get smooth skin with no acne)
  • You won’t need as many beauty products because meditation naturally clears out toxins and other things that cause bad skin

  • Basically, meditation makes you beautiful.
  • And there are great mantras for beauty too.
  • So even without make-up if you meditate you will have beautiful skin.

Obviously, for someone like Miranda Kerr, who has tons of people staring at her all day, it is immensely important that she be confident. New scientific research has pointed to the fact that meditation and mindfulness can help to eliminate food cravings and suppress appetite.

Many people eat without being aware of what they’re putting in their mouths.

When you meditate you become more aware of the way you are thinking about food, the food you are eating and the effect it is having on your body.

It’s a fundamental shift in the way a person thinks about food, and for Gisele Bundchen, Rosie Huntington Whitely and many other celebrities, meditation has been the key to maintaining their healthy bodies.

Most of the time, when you eat something unhealthy or you have a cigarette, you don’t really think about it.

You eat while you’re doing something else.

Because you don’t pay attention while eating, you don’t feel satisfied with what you’ve had. You almost forget what you’ve eaten.

This then leads you to want more food, even though your body doesn’t truly need it.

The key is to eat slowly and mindfully.  Be aware of every part of your food. When you eat, pay attention to the flavours, the colours, the texture. . . really appreciate the food. This makes you feel as though you’ve eaten more and it also helps digestion.

You also need to listen to your body, not your thoughts. Eat when you’re hungry, not when you have a craving.

Weight Loss Mantras Are A Great Alternative Way To Lose Weight

Mantras are one of THE DAILY MEDITATION’s favorite alternative ways of losing weight.

Mantras have been in use for more than 3000 years. They originated in India in the Hindu tradition when the texts the Rig Veda were written. These laid down many sacred mantras.

Traditional spiritual mantras work by tuning the mind to certain frequencies.

When we hum a sound we produce a certain frequency of sound. If we then meditate on that sound we change the frequency of the body and mind to that of the mantra.

Over the past 3000 years mantras have evolved. Today, when many people say “mantras” they actually mean “affirmation.”

 

Weight Loss Affirmations help Too

Weight Loss affirmations help too.

An affirmation is different to a mantra.

A weight loss affirmation is simply a statement of phrase that we recite to ourselves to create positive beliefs.

Katerhine Heigl’s weight loss mantra was this type of affirmation.

“[My mantra] is ‘I am easily, with good health, inspiration, grace and gratitude, losing weight faster than I can even imagine with harm to none’.”

  1. It’s a positive statement (“I am losing weight”)
  2. mixed with various positive emotions and attitudes (“inspiration”, “grace”, “gratitude”).

At a time when numerous people have died after having weight loss balloon surgery (source: SHAPE) and others are getting weight loss grants to have other such unhealthy and costly medical procedures for weight loss, it’s reassuring to see a celebrity losing weight in an enlightened, spiritual way.

You too can lose weight with a mantra.

Follow these steps to create you own weight loss mantra

Grab a notebook / phone / Word and follow these steps to create your perfect weight loss mantra.

1: State your goal in a way that makes you feel positive. This is important because different people are affected by different words. For instance, for myself, “I am consciously creating a health body” works great. You might prefer, “I am stripping off the pounds fast” or “I am crushing my weight loss.” Pick something that feels good to you.

2: Choose positive attitude to load your mantra with: Katherine Heigl loaded her mantra with the attitude of gratitude and grace. What attitudes would you most like? Some good examples are “appreciation”, “inner peace” and “love”

3: Insert those attitudes into your mantra: Now you’re going to insert the attitudes into the mantra. For instance, if we pick “I am consciously creating a healthy body” as our seed mantra, and “love” and “appreciation” as our positive attitudes, we can rework our mantra. For instance, we could write “I am consciously and lovingly creating a healthy body out of appreciation for myself.” You might like to rework your mantra a few times until it feels perfect (you will know because it will feel inspiring).

4: Close your eyes and focus: Take five minutes to relax your mind.

5: Recite the mantra 108 times: Speak your mantra out loud 108 times. This will instill the mantra into your mind, creating the positive belief.

 

Using her weight loss mantra, Katherine Heigl lost 50LBS.

“By saying my mantras out loud with love and gratitude I have found that I not only start to believe, but my body exhibits what I say and believe.”

Heigl states that weight loss mantras are more about positive intention than about magic. And she supports her mantra with basic healthy eating and exercise.

“The difference I’ve found in doing the work with a loving and positive attitude versus an anxious, frustrated and negative one is that the weight really does seem to just fall away with less struggle.”

Recent scientific research proves that our weight loss mindset is pivotal to success.

Mantras like this are a simple and affective way to create positive beliefs in the mind. Once the belief is in the mind, it motivates positive actions that lead to desired results.
