New Online Wellbeing Series From Ananda [Guest Post]

Ananda’s new wellbeing series launches online to offer health and healing during lockdown.

Increasingly, health and wellbeing facilities are being moved online, and we are seeing the rise of online yoga and meditation classes. Although some countries and states are starting to lowering restrictions on health facilities like gyms and spas, many people are still uncertain about returning to their old classes. Let alone taking wellbeing retreats.

Rather than heading out to yoga studios and spas, people are preferring to take the safer route and start meditating and working out at home using online classes.  We know that meditation and yoga are enormously beneficial for our health, but are still reluctant to use public facilities and group classes, hence why one local group in Toronto just started using Yoga “Domes”.

Social isolation has paid a huge toll on the travel and wellbeing sector, and many companies are moving online. One such company is Ananda in the Himalayas, an award winning luxury destination spa resort situated at the Himalayan foothills in Northern India, which we rate as one of the best spiritual destinations.

About Ananda Online Wellbeing Program

Ananda is a luxury resort spa in a Maharaja’s palace estate surrounded by a 100-acre forest overlooking the Ganges river valley. Ever since it opened 20 years ago, it has been one of the go-to destinations for wellness vacations, with all the splendour that you would expect from a palace that was formerly residence of the Maharaja of Tehri-Garhwal.

Ananda is highly regards for its yoga classes and other wellbeing classes with more than 60 expert Ayurveda physicians, yogis, therapists and chefs who create a truly spellbinding health retreat.   Sadly, the resort is closed because of the pandemic. But to help fans and visitors to continue to get the wellbeing experience that the retreat is famous for, Ananda has created a new online wellbeing series that you can take from home.

The Ananda Online Wellbeing series feature six different programs, including daily yoga from professional teachers, Ayurvedic consultations, meditations and more. The program is available via zoom and vouchers are available for three months since time of purchase.
