Friday, Los Angeles, U.S.A—Fans on Instagram go nuts at Willow Smith’s yoga photo as she performs the difficult asana “Flying Crow.”

Willow Smith, famous for being the daughter of Men In Black actor Will Smith and actor-singer-song-writer Jada Pinkett Smith, as well as a rapper in her own right, has wowed her fans with her Flying Crow yoga pose.

Willow Smith Doing Flying Crow Yoga Pose

 On Friday, the 19-year-old filmed her yoga expertise on Instagram during an outdoor yoga session. She wore a bright blue longline sports bright and purple sweatpants with a waistband of her bottoms rolled, a gold pendant necklace and earrings.

She performs the yoga pose “Flying Crow” (Eka Pada Galavasana) with ease. Flying Crow pose is a pose that simulates flight. The pose strengthens many regions of the body (especially the arms and torso) and develops balance and concentration. It is an advanced yoga pose.

As you can see by Willow Smith performing the yoga pose, Flying Crow begins in Downward Dog. The knees must be strong. We then balance the right knee against the right elbow. As you can see Willow Smith doing, you then push your weight forward and come up on the tiptoes of the left leg. Weight then shifts forward allowing the arms do be at a right-angle.  We then grip the yoga mat, lean forwards so the weight is on the arms. We then push the back leg outwards to “fly it”.    

Willow’s yoga video has reached over 186,000 likes and 1,800 comments on Instagram.
